Post Office Service

　Ordinary mail placed in a public mailbox is collected by a post office clerk. Collection times are listed on the side of the mailbox. When you want to send parcels, you can either take them to your post office or telephone the post office and a clerk will pick up your parcels.
　You can send money by a postal money order or transfer it into your recipient’s postal account. Also, you can send cash by registered mail, but only within Japan.
　A postal account can be used like a bank account. You can deposit and withdraw your money at any post office in the country, and make payments for public utility bills such as gas, water, electricity and telephone.

　Takuhaibin is convenient for transferring your luggage. You can send your luggage at convenient stores that have a signboard of “TAKUHAIBIN”. Also, you can contact a home delivery company to pick up your luggage.
　The charge is determined by weight, size and destination of the luggage.Refrigerated delivery services (Cool-Takuhaibin) is very convenient when sending perishable foods.

　A home delivery company provides the service for moving, and is a convenient way to send the luggage overseas.
